BIG and GKBI Forge Partnership to Pave the Way for Sustainable Energy Management and Climate Tech Adoption through Carbon Accounting Platform Agreement

BIG and GKBI have formally inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at meticulously monitoring and reducing carbon emissions across the biomass power generation process, ethanol production, and public utility sectors within the Nakhon Sawan Bio Complex project. This ambitious endeavor is powered by BIG’s Carbon Accounting Platform, designed to elevate sustainable energy management and align with the country’s aspirations of attaining Carbon Neutrality by 2050 and  Net Zero target by 2065. 

The signing of this pivotal MoU was graced by the presence of Mr. Piyabut Charuphen, Managing Director of BIG, and Mr. Dumrong Putiput, Managing Director of GKBI. The collaboration between these two industry leaders underscores their unwavering commitment to harnessing cutting-edge energy innovations to substantially curtail emissions in ethanol production and various other industries nested within the expansive Nakhon Sawan Bio Complex project. This strategic partnership also paves the way for the formulation of precise management strategies geared toward minimizing carbon emissions from production processes.
