Guidelines of Bangkok Industrial Gas Co., Ltd. for the Protection of Personal Data (Bangkok Industrial Gas Personal Data Protection Policy)
Bangkok Industrial Gas Co., Ltd. (BIG) has established this Guidelines for the Protection of the Personal Data (the “Guidelines”) to determine the procedures regarding implementation of personal data to ensure to the legal compliance and privacy measures of BIG and to assure that any action by BIG related to the personal data shall be subject to the security and privacy principles in each step ranging from collecting, using through disclosing.
This Guidelines shall comprise of the following principles.
- Categorize the necessary departments in order to classify the details of the personal data collected, used or disclosed by each department to ensure that the personal data is handled in the strict basis of necessity for each department.

- Classify of Collecting, Using and Disclosing of Personal
- Data Catagorized forms of the personal data are divided below and as stipulated in the “Terms and Procedures for Accessing to Personal Data of the Company” in which BIG shall assign the responsible persons to safeguard the personal data.
- In paper form stored and
- In electronic form
- BIG shall collect, store, use or disclose personal data and be aware of security and privacy concerns by restricting on the right to access, usage, and publish to be all in compliance with the objectives received as per prior consent and the Personal Data Protection Policy (the “Policy”) or by laws.
- Data Catagorized forms of the personal data are divided below and as stipulated in the “Terms and Procedures for Accessing to Personal Data of the Company” in which BIG shall assign the responsible persons to safeguard the personal data.
- Use of Cookies (Cookies)
BIG uses Cookies to facilitate the users to soley access the services and/or products of BIG without the use to connect with the personal data. “Cookies” is small data file serving as colletor of users’ experiences in surfing our website. In this regard, BIG shall use the information recorded by Cookies for the anonymous-statistic purpose to enable BIG in improving users’ experiences to meet more precise needs. Notwithstanding the foregoing, BIG shall not be able to know the identity of the users out of the collected information.
- Access, Alteration, Modification and Updating of the Personal Data
- By sending a letter
- By sending email, provided that it is the email recorded in BIG’s system for the verification purpose
- By phone which BIG may inquire additional personal information for identity verification
- By visiting in person at BIG
BIG has provided the following channels for the data owners to update the collected personal data.
- Security and Privacy of the Personal Data
- Educate and publish information in connection with security and privacy of the personal data to the employees or related officers.
- Comply with BIG’s terms, Guidelines, rights and restrictions in accessing to the personal data
- Keep log of accessing, using and/or backing up history for a reasonable period of time or in according with the laws.
For effeciency of the security and privacy sakes as well as confidentiality, integrity and availability on the personal data, BIG then determines the right to access or use of the personal data to serve with appropriate measures covering from the collection through storing of the personal data so as to prevent unlawful changes and unlawful publish without prior consent from the data owners with the following actions:
