BIG attended the Supply Chain Symposium: Building Supply Chain Resilience for Enhanced Thailand-U.S. Partnership, co-hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok. The symposium aimed to foster cooperation in supply chains between Thailand and the United States.
During the symposium, Mr. Piyabut Charuphen, Managing Director of BIG, participated in a panel discussion titled “Supply Chain Management – Identifying Opportunities and Challenges – Clean Energy” alongside distinguished experts from the public and private sectors. Key topics of discussion included contributing to the country’s goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050 and net-zero emissions by 2065 through clean energy and technologies.
Mr. Piyabut shared BIG’s commitment to becoming a carbon-neutral organization and emphasized the importance of hydrogen energy. Air Products, BIG’s parent company in the U.S., has made significant investments of over 15 billion USD in Blue Hydrogen and Green Hydrogen projects, aligning with their strategy of “Generating a Cleaner Future”. These efforts underscore BIG’s dedication to a sustainable and clean future.
