BIG Supporting Medical Oxygen and Live Saving Equipment to Thammasat University Hospital for COVID-19 Recovering Patients’ Treatment

To embrace the Thai government on COVID-19, BIG has delivered oxygen, pressure reducing equipment and respirator sets as technology and innovation of industrial gases for medical use to aid in relieving the COVID-19 crisis and to support Thammasat University Hospital with goodwill in encouraging the treatment of Thai medical professionals to the COVID-19 patients.

Mr. Piyabut Charuphen, Managing Director of Bangkok Industrial Gas Co., Ltd. (BIG), Thailand’s Innovative Industrial Gas Solutions, reveals that on 1 April 2020, BIG has supported its medical oxygen, pressure reducing equipment, and respirator sets to Thammasat University Hospital where Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pharuhat Tor-Udom, Hospital Director of Thammasat University Hospital and Asst. Prof. Dr. Prinya Thaewanarumitkul, Vice President for Management and Sustainability of Thammasat University, represent and receive this support at the hall of M.R. Suwapan Sanitwong Building, Thammasat University Hospital, Rangsit Center for a purpose of medical treatment to the COVID-19-patients. As we all realize that such medical equipment is a part of life saving to the medical treatment since oxygen, as one of the significant products of BIG produced from the air separation process with advanced technology having clean and purity properties to safely use for medical purpose, plays an important role in rehabilitation and respiratory system recovery, especially for a case that the patient has a pulmonary infection. BIG leadership in the medical oxygen production and services will be beneficial to the medical treatment in the Thai hospitals.
