BIG Provides Medical Oxygen for Amata City Chonburi and Amata City Rayong Community Isolation Centers

“BIG” provided medical oxygen support to aid fight against the COVID-19 in Thailand by expediting the urgent delivery of medical oxygen and the equipment for the COVID-19 patients at Amata City Chonburi and Amata City Rayong Community Isolation Centers.

Mr. Piyabut Charuphen – Managing Director of Bangkok Industrial Gas Company Limited or BIG, the largest oxygen producer in Thailand – revealed that the spread of the COVID-19 still continued widely. BIG was concerned about this tough situation. Many agencies established volunteer squads or field hospitals to help the COVID-19 patients. BIG, therefore, expedited the supply of medical oxygen to help the critically ill patients who required a continuous supply of oxygen. On August 27, 2021, BIG presented medical oxygen, cylinders, and oxygen regulators to Mr. Viboon Kromadit, Director and Chief Marketing Officer of Amata Corporation Public Company Limited for the use at Amata City Chonburi and Amata City Rayong community isolation centers.

Regarding this support, BIG was concerned about the patients at the community isolation centers who required medical oxygen to restore their oxygen levels. Amata Corporation Public Company Limited joined hands with private firms to convert factories in Amata City Chonburi Industrial Estate and Amata City Rayong Industrial Estate into community isolation centers. The community isolation centers are equipped with over 500 beds for the COVID-19 patients classified in the green group and meet the public health standards.

BIG will continue our support to aid fight against the COVID-19 for public health agencies, foundations, and volunteers until the situation resolves and returns to normal.
